Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 spaghetti squash


  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil


  • 1 pinch sea salt


  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • Slice the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a large spoon. Drizzle the inside of the squash with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste
  • Place the spaghetti squash cut side down on a baking sheet and use a fork to poke holes roast for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown on the outside. The time will vary depending on the size of your squash.
  • Remove from oven and flip the squash so that it's cut side up. When cool to the touch use a fork to scrape and fluff the flesh of the squash from the sides of the skin until it resembles a pasta like consistency
  • Ready to serve as is inside the skin of the squash, or plate and top with whatever spaghetti sauce you prefer
